We’re seeking a Senior / Lead Technical Recruiter who has successfully hired top-tier engineers, can manage a demanding and fast-changing requisition load, and excels in a high-growth, startup environment. This role is hybrid in Palo Alto (minimum 3 days per week in office).
Responsibilities

Own full-cycle technical recruiting across high-priority roles in AI/ML, software engineering, embedded systems, hardware, and product.

Partner directly with executives and senior hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate talent profiles, and drive strategic workforce planning.

Lead sourcing strategy end-to-end, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, networks, advanced search techniques, and cold outreach to engage senior technical talent.

Run high-quality screening and evaluation, ensuring strong technical alignment, culture fit, and long-term team impact.

Drive the recruiting process with urgency and precision, managing complex pipelines with competing priorities while maintaining exceptional quality.

Ensure an elite candidate experience, acting as a point of continuity and professionalism throughout the process.

Manage ATS workflows, analytics, and reporting to provide clear visibility into pipeline health, funnel metrics, and hiring velocity.

Influence recruiting best practices and operational excellence as we scale—improving processes, interview loops, and talent evaluation rigor.

Thrive in ambiguity, adapting quickly as business needs evolve and new critical roles emerge.
Skills

6–15 years of recruiting experience, with a strong track record placing engineers across multiple disciplines (software, AI/ML, embedded, hardware, cloud).

Proven success hiring in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally startups or companies with large simultaneous requisition loads.

Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders, influence decisions, and act as a trusted advisor on talent strategy.

Expert sourcing capabilities, especially cold outreach, passive candidate engagement, and building long-term talent pipelines.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to set expectations, drive alignment, and maintain momentum.

Highly organized and self-directed, with excellent time management, follow-through, and prioritization skills.

Experience with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics.
