📐 About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is essential for managing our day-to-day accounting needs, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in financial analysis and reporting.

🦸🏻‍♀️ Your responsibilities

  • Manage general ledger entries and maintain accurate financial records and statements

  • Perform account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies to ensure accuracy

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Focus on processing accounts payable, and accounts receivable in a timely manner

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting

  • Assist with tax preparation and filing activities

  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures

  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve financial processes and systems

⭐️ Is this you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial standards (GAAP), and compliance regulations

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active CPA license

  • Experience with US GAAP, and/or IFRS

  • Expertise in various software suites, including Netsuite, Rippling, ADP, the Microsoft Office suite, etc.
