Wave’s mission is to unite humanity through immersive 3d entertainment. Our vision is to be the live entertainment hub of the metaverse: a place where anyone can attend, perform live, or be a part of a 24/7 live entertainment community. No matter where or who you are, our platform welcomes you—joining on mobile, streaming a 2D social video, or immersing you in 3D VR. Virtual shows (“Waves”) are the heartbeat of our platform. Come help us define the future of music! Together we'll create amazing experiences for the attendees, and drive creativity for concerts. You’ll be at the forefront of executing Go-To-Market, UA and growth-focused marketing strategies, experiments, and campaigns that are both measurable and scalable. You will work closely to drive product marketing initiatives working cross-functionally to drive retention and bring to life the epic and interactive experience at Wave!

Wave is looking for a Live Ops Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven, live service, growth marketing-centric and creator economy-focused environment. You will own day-to-day marketing execution, product marketing cross-team alignment and implementation, and lifecycle/funnel optimization for Wave’s interactive, social music platform. This role is highly cross-functional—partnering with product, content, growth, creator relations, and analytics teams—to drive user engagement, retention, and monetization for virtual events and creator experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute live ops marketing rhythms—calendars, content drops, feature releases, promotions, in-app events, ASO and CRM/lifecycle triggers
  • Build, test, and run growth-focused campaigns and monetization that drive acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention across user segments
  • Collaborate with product teams to launch features, optimize funnels, and shape the live service roadmap using audience insights and performance data
  • Develop product marketing strategies for major creator activations, virtual events, and seasonal initiatives
  • Partner with analytics to continuously test, measure, and iterate marketing programs—improving key KPIs across the funnel
  • Own channel execution across push, email, in-app messaging, paid user acquisition support, and cross-platform social/digital touchpoints
  • Build and refine rapid experimentation frameworks (A/B tests, segmentation strategies, content variants)
  • Act as a proactive, hungry operator who identifies opportunities early and mobilizes stakeholders around them

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years in live ops, mobile games marketing, product marketing, or growth roles within gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech
  • Experience managing live service calendars, player lifecycles, or in-app engagement systems
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in funnel data, experimentation, and performance optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with product teams and influence roadmap decisions
  • Hands-on execution skills—comfortable moving fast, learning quickly, and owning outcomes
  • Passion for gaming, creator ecosystems, and next-gen digital entertainment
