Sandbar is an interface company in New York City. We aim to bridge gaps, to better navigate the world around & inside each of us. Our north star is self extension.

Our team has built consumer products across Meta, CTRL-labs, Google, Apple, Fitbit, Peloton, and Equinox.

Our first product, Stream, is a new way to capture thoughts—a private voice ring and conversational notepad.

Stream has been featured in WSJ, Bloomberg, Fast Company, and Wired, and begins shipping in Summer '26.

About

We’re hiring a founding Product Manager for Stream, a new conversational interface. You will be responsible for end-to-end software product development—including feature definition, releases, and program management. You’ll work closely with designers, software engineers, and Sandbar’s cofounders across high-level strategy and minute-to-minute execution.

Responsibilities

• Transform complex, ambiguous ideas into clear, buildable products

• Work with engineering and design to make tradeoffs, align on decisions, and drive day-to-day execution

• Manage our alpha user program, including onboarding, feedback, and triage

• Work closely with engineers, designers, founders on product

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping consumer technology products

• Ability to distill complex decisions into clear tradeoffs and decisions

• Love for minute details, granular processes, and minor copy edits

• Strong technical knowledge

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Passion for large language models and human-computer interaction
