About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Operations Manager or Associate. This role reports to the Director of Finance & Business Operations and will be a strategic, high-impact role where you’ll be working cross-functionally across teams and directly with leadership on projects that touch virtually every part of the business.

This role is for someone who wants to build, and take on an ambitious opportunity at the intersection of gaming and technology at a startup with an AI-forward mentality. Ownership, self-drive and a can-do attitude are essential.


Responsibilities

Business Operations

  • Support business operations for FirstLook CRM, creators.gg, player.gg, and Pragma Engine, including people+payroll; processing invoices, billing, and payments; contract admin; procurement, fulfillment and rollouts; sales & marketing support
  • Own & optimize workflows as needed
  • Interface with the company’s accounting/finance/tax partner to contextualize transactions, ensuring they have documentation for their needs
  • Support reporting for leadership, sales, marketing, and finance
  • Support Board and meeting preparation
  • Contribute to high priority growth initiatives alongside product, sales and marketing
  • Own coordination and logistics of cross-team initiatives, events and various other projects

Marketing & People

  • Assist with the planning & execution of offsites and conferences for Sales/Marketing, Product & Engineering and Company
  • Assist with People onboarding and offboarding
  • Optimize workflows as needed

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience, ideally spanning some combination of finance, bizops, consulting, investment banking, or startup operations
  • Are you this? Then this will work out well

    • Ownership: strong attention to detail and follow through
    • Good at math
    • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
    • AI-first user and comfort with agentic workflows
    • Able to manage and maintain multiple projects and tasks
  • Preference for candidates working on the west coast of the US (company hours are anchored to PST)
  • Familiarity with accounting or FP&A a plus
  • Travel a few times a year for company offsites and industry events
