About the Role
We are looking for a growth leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and who will take a sales approach to payer partnerships; testing, learning, and optimizing strategies that enable strategic relationships with our payer partners to grow, efficiently managing resources that align partnership priorities to business goals. As the VP of Strategic Payer Growth, you will report to our Chief Commercial Officer and sit at the intersection of all our payer partnerships to help drive our overall company strategy to ensure we’re setting ourselves up for long-term success. You’ll shape our reputation with the largest payers in the country. You will be responsible for making sure mental healthcare works for everyone.
Rula's revenue-generating business model is divided into patients and payers, with payers being the main artery. Therefore, to grow our business, we need to drive more demand from our payers, and the best way to do that is through strategic growth partnerships. Rula currently has 3 national deals and a dozen of the Blue and our goal is to make all our payers strategic growth partners.
Required Qualifications
A leader with experience managing a partnership team who sold into payers or health systems (both are a bonus)
Someone who understands payer health plan structure and decision-making
Strong individual contributor
8+ years of experience in generating sales revenue
A deep Rolodex of contacts at top payers

Experience managing a team of at least two people
A deep Rolodex of contacts at top payers
A demonstrated understanding of unique reimbursement models (value-based care, performance incentives, bundles, etc.)
Behavioral Health experience including tele-BH
