Parachute Home is seeking a SVP of Marketing based in Los Angeles, to spearhead our consolidated marketing strategy, driving brand awareness, brand equity, and accelerating revenue growth through broad and targeted marketing campaigns. This pivotal role is tasked with shaping the strategy, managing the media budget, and leading brand marketing, performance marketing team and creative teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position will collaborate closely with the product development, merchandising and digital teams to align on company goals. As a leader, the SVP of Marketing will innovate and implement marketing initiatives that enhance customer engagement, elevate brand loyalty, and maximize marketing ROI.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and traditional advertising to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure consistent and effective brand messages across all channels and marketing efforts. Guide the positioning of the brand in a competitive market, and monitor brand and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the marketing team; manage resources and budget allocations effectively.
- Utilize analytics and data insights to drive marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and improve customer acquisition and retention rates.
- Own the full media budget and implementation of cutting edge performance marketing campaigns. Continually identify new growth channels, paid and organic
- Build systems, tools and dashboards for measuring, experimenting and sharing results on business-critical KPIs related to growth
- Oversee the creation and deployment of engaging creative and content across various platforms to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention.
- Work closely with other departments, including customer service, our retail leaders, and wholesale team to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to customer satisfaction and product launches.
- Define a retail marketing strategy, and oversee execution for all locations.
- Own the end-to-end online customer journey, defining specific landmarks in the journey, overcoming roadblocks, and executing programs that push for deeper customer engagement, increase retention, and drive revenue
Who You Are:
- A world-class brand strategist with a deep understanding of performance marketing, and the skill to build analytical teams or a world-class modern marketer with an extensive knowledge of digital marketing and empathy for brand building exercise.
- Enthusiastic leader, with deep expertise in digital retailing and love of consumer brands
- Results-driven, proactive, with a hands-on approach in campaign and experiment management to hit key goals
- Comfortable with ambiguity, highly-skilled at project prioritization, and a builder at heart
- Embraces a “player/coach” approach to leadership, able to dive into the details when necessary while also able to see around corners and drive long-term strategic step change
- Highly quantitative, analytical, and a technical self-starter with the ability to process and understand large data sets
- Have prior experience working at a high-growth startup and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- 12+ years of progressive responsibility including experience leading e-commerce and performance marketing teams
- Demonstrated strategic business planning and people management skills
- Ability to work with all levels within an organization
