SUMMARY:

The Senior Analyst, FP&A will be an integral part in the day-to-day finance functions at Parachute Home. You will be a key lead on all our budgeting and forecasting, investor reporting and financial analytics. You will own and maintain financial models and reports used by the executive team to drive key business decisions and serve as the finance partner to division leads across the entire organization. We want someone detail-oriented, who knows how to work at a fast pace, and understands & appreciates cash flow. You will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A and work closely with the finance and accounting team, along with the planning, retail, and executive teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage key pieces of the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including implementing improvements to the forecasting methodology, researching and communicating forecast variances vs. actuals, and reporting forecasts out to department heads
• Maintain a weekly cash forecast that drives near-term business decisions. You will forecast cash inflows and outflows and analyze the cash flow impacts of changes in inventory buys and other strategic investments
• Work closely with the planning function to reconcile company inventory balances and align forecast methodologies
• Serve as a finance resource to departmental teams on mission-critical projects, forecasting efforts and other requests
• Drive process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
• Develop solutions to ad-hoc financial, analytical, and reporting requests

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 3+ years of experience working in a finance, accounting or related function
• Expert at Excel modeling
• Experience designing and maintaining financial models and reports
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial statements
• Prior experience in public accounting, investment banking, or consulting, preferred
• Experience at mid/late-stage startups or public companies in e-commerce, retail, or consumer products is a plus
• Experience working for a company with physical inventory is a plus
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate financial topics to non-finance people
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be detail-oriented

Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The estimated pay range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000 + annual bonus.
