About The Landline Company

Landline is revolutionizing air travel by bridging the gap between regional communities and major airline hubs. We partner with top airlines like American and Air Canada to offer innovative multimodal connections across North America. Our luxury motorcoaches and shuttles replace short flights with a faster, more sustainable alternative—reducing costs, addressing pilot shortages, and enhancing passenger journeys. We are a venture-backed, high-growth company scaling quickly across the continent.

The Role

The Fleet Maintenance Planner is responsible for the health, reliability, and performance of Landline’s motorcoach and shuttle fleet across multiple regions. This role combines hands-on fleet knowledge with analytical, financial, and strategic oversight to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

This position requires the ability to clearly speak to motorcoach and shuttle condition and performance, translate fleet data into actionable insights, and support financial and operational planning through analytics and reporting. The Fleet Manager ensures motorcoaches and shuttles are properly maintained, compliant, and available to meet operational demands, while building visibility and structure to support maintenance strategy, vendor performance, and long-term fleet investments. Over time, this role may include direct people management responsibilities.

This role can be based in Trenton, NJ and follows a hybrid schedule with both in-person and remote work.

  • Contribute to evaluations and business cases for company-operated maintenance depots, including staffing, tooling, and operating considerations
  • Manage in-house mechanics and depot operations where applicable, with potential for direct reports over time
  • Maintain fleet standards, documentation, and processes to support safety and regulatory compliance
  • Partner with Safety and Operations teams on vehicle-related incidents, audits, and corrective actions
  • Support new market launches through fleet readiness and maintenance planning
