Position Summary:

As the AML Program Lead for Digital Assets, you will be designing, building and leading a BSA risk management program related to Jiko’s digital asset portfolio. This position will work closely with teams across the company, including the engineering, product management, compliance, operations, and infrastructure teams to create an efficient and effective risk management system.

Key Duties:

  • Support the BSA Officer on developing and implementing key AML policies, procedures, and operational activities for Jiko’s digital assets portfolio
  • In line with blockchain analytics tools, develop AML blockchain monitoring and wallet verification strategies tailored to Jiko’s digital asset-related product offerings
  • Perform KYC reviews for both onboarding and ongoing reviews of Digital Asset portfolio clients.
  • Ensure transaction monitoring alerts for suspicious activity & sanctions are reviewed on the digital asset portfolio according to internal procedures.
  • Execute regulatory reporting requirements such as SAR filings.
  • Assist with regulatory audits and examinations.
  • Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and innovative technology-driven environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years BSA/AML or financial crime compliance experience in a bank, fintech, MSB, or broker-dealer
  • 3+ years supporting crypto or blockchain-enabled products (payments, custody, exchange, stablecoins)
  • Working knowledge of crypto typologies (scams, mixers, chain hopping, ransomware, sanctions exposure) and how they show up on-chain and in customer behavior
  • Familiarity with a blockchain analytics tool (TRM, Chainalysis, Elliptic) or equivalent on-chain investigative methods
  • Investigations and escalation experience: complex cases, clear narratives, SAR drafting input, preparing audit-ready documentation
  • Transaction monitoring ops: developing monitoring criteria, triage standards, disposition quality, QA, basic tuning support, KPIs
  • Ability to partner with Product and Engineering to embed controls (wallet allowlisting/verification, limits, holds, case tooling)
  • Ability to understand complex financial products
  • Comfortable with audits, exams, and explaining decisions
  • Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret legal documents, governmental regulations, and professional publications, especially guidance issued by regulatory authorities on the issues of Bank Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Ability to effectively present information to and respond to inquiries from senior management, attorneys, vendors, government agents, and various teams.
