Student transportation is the largest mass transit system in the U.S. The way kids get to and from school has a direct impact on our kids, families, schools and communities. While school districts spend $28 billion annually on transportation, only 30% of kids get to school on a bus. The current system can no longer meet all the transportation needs of our districts, schools and families — and its shortcomings are causing inequities in educational access that are affecting the welfare of millions of kids each day.

HopSkipDrive is taking a different approach to arranging safe, reliable school transportation that meets needs that aren’t being addressed by the current system, helping to fill gaps and supplement the student transportation options available. As a Salesforce Administrator you will be customizing our Salesforce platform by building, configuring and automating to drive efficiencies. You will work to connect Salesforce across our technology stack. Work with leadership to define system requirements and enable users to get the most out of our CRM.

What you'll do

  • CRM Management: Manage and maintain our Salesforce system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with sales leaders to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the sales cycle. Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and surface sales data and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies.
  • Support & Training: Provide daily support to the sales team, troubleshoot issues, assist in onboarding new sales team members, and offer ongoing training.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales processes and ensure compliance.
  • Sales Reporting: Generate and maintain regular sales reports and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance, discrepancies, and trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, marketing, finance, and customer success, to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving company goals.

What you bring

  • Technical proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Salesforce Advanced Admin Certification
    • Additional certifications are a strong plus.
  • A proactive and efficient approach to problem-solving.
  • An ownership mentality, taking responsibility for identified deficiencies and addressing them appropriately.
  • Strong attention to detail, data organization skills, and pattern recognition.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude with an execution-focused mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
  • An affinity for great workday music.

HopSkipDrive is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Los Angeles, CA is $80,000 to $100,000. This position is remote and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this role also includes equity stock options.
