The Senior Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist is part of GumGum’s Ad Operations team, whose responsibilities include the management, optimization and analysis of Programmatic and Direct campaigns throughout the GumGum platform.

The role works closely with the Senior Manager, Programmatic Ad Operations APAC and has leadership responsibilities within the team for training, documentation, mentoring, escalations and other Senior team member responsibilities.

The Senior Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist is an enthusiastic, confident, and flexible team player, with a strong analytical and creative mindset that thrives in a fast-paced and agile environment.

What You'll Achieve

  • Campaign Management
    • Setup and manage Direct and Programmatic campaigns autonomously.
    • Configure ad creatives and tracking tags.
    • QA, monitor, and optimize campaigns for best outcomes and delivery.
    • Liaise between clients, DSPs, and 3rd Party Vendors to ensure successful campaign activation and measurement, troubleshooting as needed.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction.
    • Assist with End of Month billing processes.
    • Utilize GumGum data products like AIP and Verity for campaign success.
  • Escalation & Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to formulate media plans and strategies.
    • Analyze data and share insights across departments.
    • Stay updated on GumGum’s programmatic offerings and DSP platforms to support and educate partners, clients, and internal teams.
    • Lead investigations into discrepancies and campaign issues, escalating to relevant stakeholders as needed.
    • Work with other departments on new product or process improvements.
    • Mentor and train junior team members, acting as a point of contact in the absence of the Senior Manager.
  • Analytics and Efficiencies
    • Analyze campaign data to determine best practices and share with the team.
    • Act as escalation for technical issues and troubleshooting.
    • Develop relationships with international peers and support teams to resolve escalations promptly.
    • Maintain internal knowledge-sharing resources.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Generate and present regular campaign performance reports.
    • Extract and analyze meaningful insights and trends from campaign data.
  • Technical Skills & Support
    • Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and internal teams.
    • Resolve technical issues and inquiries promptly.
    • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, DSP vendors, third-party tracking tools, and project management tools.
    • Develop expertise in GumGum’s internal tools and product suite.
    • Strong analytical skills for data-driven optimization strategies.

Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in trafficking, optimizing, and pacing digital advertising campaigns.
  • Proficiency with ad serving systems (DCM), project management tools, DMPs, DSPs, and research study vendors.
  • Advanced knowledge of KPIs and optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of digital media and advertising principles.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organized results delivery.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet manipulation.
  • Strategic thinking and execution with strong time management.
  • Independent operation while guiding others and managing stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and balance competing demands.
  • High energy level, enthusiasm for digital technology, data, and operational efficiency.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and driven to find improvements and efficiencies.
  • Commitment to developing others.
