The Account Manager is a critical role within the Customer Success and Operations department that works directly with our advertising agency partners to execute on campaigns to meet client targets. The role supports our sales team to ensure that all aspects of the campaign cycle are performing to client expectations while updating, educating and building relationships with our agency partners.

The Account Manager facilitates the management of all aspects of the campaign life cycle, working closely with our Sales, Creative Services and Programmatic Ad Operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of advertising campaigns, while providing GumGum clients with industry-leading customer service.

Notes: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.

What You'll Achieve

  • Campaign Success & Client Satisfaction

    • Execute sold advertising campaigns on GumGum’s platform within SLA.
    • Ensure exceptional customer experiences and build strong agency relationships.
    • Coordinate with clients and internal teams for smooth campaign operations.
    • Provide IOs, campaign screenshots, and detailed reports.
    • Share insights and recommendations regularly.
    • Assist with billing reports and timely invoicing.
    • Offer feedback to improve client servicing.
    • Understand GumGum’s tools and products thoroughly.
  • Sales Partnership

    • Support new business development and collaborate on media plans.
    • Identify upweight opportunities to drive revenue.
    • Build and maintain relationships with strategic client accounts.
    • Assist in managing and executing strategic sales opportunities.

Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years in digital media, preferably in Account Management or Media Planning.
  • Knowledge of Ad Tech and digital advertising trends.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Effective communicator with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or GSuite.
  • Familiarity with Doubleclick, Sizmek, MOAT, Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, Salesforce, and JIRA.
  • Understanding of programmatic advertising concepts.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to deliver on client expectations.
  • Ability to handle high pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Open to feedback with a growth mindset.
  • Organized, proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
