About the Position
Foursquare is looking for a Customer Success Engineer to join our team in our Belgrade office; on a hybrid schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office.
Working from our Belgrade office, you will collaborate with Customer Success, Data Science and Engineering to support measurement and reporting setup of new products and data feeds for all client reporting purposes. You will also be in charge of campaign management, checking for breaks, and troubleshooting. In addition, you will be responsible for the scoping and implementation of custom internal solutions and projects to improve efficiencies.
In this role, you’ll
- Analyze, reproduce, and troubleshoot client issues related to the Attribution product
- Work closely with our Customer Success, Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering teams to unblock clients and resolve any issues they are facing
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, and engage with other internal teams as needed
- Own and be an expert on internal tools and analysis
- Collaborate with other teams to develop new tools as needed to make your, and their, jobs more efficient
What you’ll need
- B.Sc. in a technical field such as computer science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in support/solutions/sales engineering or similar roles
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL (we use Postgres, Hive, Athena) and Python (Pandas, PySpark, etc; particularly working with big data)
- 1-2 years of experience with shell scripting
- 1-2 years of experience with at least one other programming language (Scala or Java), competent at reading and understanding code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being adept at translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences, and vice versa
- A sense of curiosity and an interest in “figuring things out”
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills, experience with notebooks (Databricks, Jupyter, etc) for analysis is a major plus
