FabFitFun is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to join our Engineering Team! This position will report to our SVP, Technology. Ideal candidates love to design, build, and operate frontend platforms.

Location: While FFF HQ is based in Los Angeles, CA, this role will be eligible for remote hire in the following states: CA, CT, FL, NY, OH, TX

What You’ll Do:

• Help define the architectural strategy for the frontend platform and contribute to architectural vision for our frontend at large
• Review code and provide technical feedback to team members
• Build services and tooling to streamline the design/development hand-off
• Build-out and maintain the Frontend team’s CI pipeline
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on the team
• Help define standards and best practices on your team for testing, software delivery, observability, and so on
• Attend critical team meetings like stand up and sprint planning
• Write technical documentation
• Encourage a culture of experimentation, prototyping and brainstorming across technical teams
• Advocate for new technology and design patterns where you believe they can help power the business
• Advocate for flexible, domain-driven solutions that balance expediency with long-term flexibility

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with hands-on experience in CI pipelines and frontend tooling
• You have a lot of experience with the JavaScript ecosystem; specifically around build systems, testing frameworks, React, and TypeScript
• Experience with the GitHub CI ecosystem and familiarity with AWS
• Bonus points: DataDog, server-side rendered applications, and maintaining monorepos
• Automation has become a core value for you, and your systems can operate in production for long periods without human intervention
• You prefer highly-observable systems as opposed to console.logs in production-deployed code
• Adhere to best-practices in terms of React and the larger JavaScript ecosystem

The expected base salary range for this position is $200-$220K + bonus. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits.
