CX2 is a next-generation defense technology company founded to deliver spectrum dominance for the United States and our allies. CX2’s AI-enabled hardware and software platforms detect, disrupt and defend the electromagnetic spectrum across land, air, sea and space domains.
We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistician to own and manage the logistics and sustainment lifecycle of our hardware programs. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that critical parts, assemblies, and support packages are delivered on time, field-ready, and aligned with customer requirements. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and field operations—making sure the systems we build are operationally viable and supportable at scale.
Overall Responsibilities
- Lead logistics execution with a strong emphasis on compliance, traceability, and auditability across receiving, inventory management, warehousing, and shipment throughout the lifecycle.
- Own receiving operations, ensuring all inbound materials are verified against purchase and shipping documentation, inspected for condition, serialized or lot-controlled as required, and accurately recorded in inventory systems.
- Maintain inventory integrity through strict controls including serial number and lot tracking, controlled issue and return processes, cycle counts, reconciliation, discrepancy investigations, and corrective action documentation.
- Manage warehouse operations to ensure secure storage, material segregation, access control, environmental compliance, and handling procedures consistent with military logistics and quality standards.
- Oversee domestic and international shipping activities in accordance with U.S. and foreign transportation regulations, customs requirements, export controls, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliant handling and shipment of ITAR-controlled, sensitive, or classified hardware in alignment with DoD, DDTC, and program-specific security requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and audit logistics documentation and records, including bills of lading, export documentation, receiving reports, inventory records, and chain-of-custody artifacts to support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure logistics, packaging, handling, provisioning, and sustainment requirements are defined early and aligned with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and military sustainment practices.
- Establish, document, and continuously improve logistics, warehouse, and inventory control procedures, ensuring alignment with defense industry best practices, contractual requirements, and audit standards.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or ILS roles—preferably in the aerospace, military, defense, or high-reliability hardware industry.
- Experience supporting DoD programs or working within a defense contractor environment.
- Strong understanding of MIL-STD, DFARS, ITAR, and government logistics requirements.
- Hands-on familiarity with logistics software, ERP tools, and inventory tracking systems.
- Clear, structured communicator with a bias for operational excellence and a high standard of precision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment where process is evolving and speed matters.
- Current Secret/Top Secret Clearance or an ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance. Learn more about Security Clearances here.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Person (see ITAR Regulations below) due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
Bonus Points
- Prior experience standing up logistics or sustainment operations for a new product line or program.
- Experience supporting forward-deployed operations or rapid fielding of military systems.
- Familiarity with classified material handling and secure shipment procedures.
ITAR Regulations
- To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), applicant must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Learn more about the ITAR here.
