The Growth Team drives CX2’s growth by leading the strategy, development, and delivery of winning proposals. We partner closely with teams across the business—including growth, legal, finance, engineering, program management, and executive leadership—to pursue and secure major new opportunities.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Proposal & Capture Strategist to join our fast-growing Growth team in El Segundo. This role sits at the core of CX2’s growth engine, blending project management, strategy, and storytelling. You’ll craft compelling content, guide capture and pricing strategies, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to win new business. Success in this role requires agility in a fast-paced environment, strong writing skills, and the ability to bring clarity and structure to complex pursuits.
Overall Responsibilities
- Write persuasive narratives and create proposal materials that drive business growth.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to develop capture strategies and produce proposals, white papers, and supporting materials.
- Manage and author responses to government and customer requests, including proposals, quotes, and information packages.
- Build and refine strategic pricing models across CX2’s products and business lines.
- Own and continuously improve the proposal development process.
- Curate and maintain a content library of reusable prose, briefs, and graphics.
- Work closely with engineering teams to accurately represent CX2’s technical capabilities.
- Track, assess, and flag new business opportunities to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience producing high-quality, written content under tight deadlines.
- A minimum of two years' experience with government solicitation processes.
- Prior experience building structure and process in high-growth or dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse functions (design, engineering, program management, supply chain, finance).
- An ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance preferred.
