Job summary

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our growing Inside Sales team in Berlin, Germany as a Sales Executive.

This represents a huge opportunity for the person joining us to increase our market share in Germany in line with our global growth plans. For this position we are looking for a true sales profile who has extensive experience in telephone sales and a proven track record of winning new business and managing the full sales cycle.

You will be part of a team focused on mid-market sales opportunities in Germany for Iron Mountain's digital and data management services and solutions. In this role, you will build and maintain solid relationships with your customers, using a consultative approach to understand their current business objectives and use this knowledge to position and sell appropriate solutions.

Your role in our mission:

  • Execution of outbound phone calls/LinkedIn/XING introductions for demand and lead generation as well as sales

  • Active acquisition of new sales opportunities

  • Understand Iron Mountain's core messages/value proposition and effectively communicate these to customers/prospects

  • Management and closing of new business opportunities in the B2B sector

  • Achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales and volume goals

  • Achieving weekly activity goals such as calls, emails and offers

  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system

Valued skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in telephone sales, ideally in a B2B environment

  • Experience and proven track record in managing full sales cycles from lead generation to close

  • Self-confidence, ambition and initiative

  • Enthusiastic and persuasive conversation skills to build relationships and overcome objections

  • Proven business acumen

  • Ability to analyze markets and identify new business opportunities

  • Proactive attitude (don't be afraid to talk on the phone)

  • Quick comprehension and ability to ask the right questions

  • Familiarity with computers/social media

  • Customer focus

  • Business fluency in both English and German
