About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated early-career professional to join our Marketing team as an Email Marketing Specialist. In this role, you’ll support the Director of Lifecycle Marketing in planning, building, and executing campaigns that engage our end-users throughout their journey using Clair. You’ll own day-to-day campaign execution in Braze and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver polished, impactful communications that drive adoption, retention, and loyalty.
What You’ll Do
- Support Lifecycle Marketing: As a member of the Lifecycle Marketing team, you’ll support and execute lifecycle strategies and campaigns that enhance the customer journey.
- Own Campaign Execution in Braze: Build, QA, and launch email campaigns (and other channels like SMS and in-app when needed) with precision and extreme attention to detail.
- Manage Campaign Calendar: Maintain the email campaign schedule, ensuring alignment with company priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design and Compliance: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure messaging, design assets, regulatory language and targeting are consistent and on-brand.
- Monitor & Report Results: Track campaign performance, share insights, and recommend optimizations to improve engagement.
- Adapt & Stay Organized: Balance shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy, timely delivery and follow-through.
Your Background
- Early Career Professional: 0–1 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role; relevant internships welcome.
- Fintech Experience a Plus: Previous exposure to financial services, fintech, or SaaS environments is helpful but not required.
- Braze Experience a Bonus: Familiarity with Braze or other email/marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Pardot, Iterable, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting clear, engaging messages.
- Highly Organized: Exceptional attention to detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines required.
- Adaptable & Growth-Minded: Comfortable managing shifting priorities, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within lifecycle and email marketing.
Additional Details
Location: This is a hybrid position based out of New York City, you will be expected to come into the office at least three days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays) with additional days on occasion for client meetings.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this role is $75,000. The base pay for this role is determined using many factors, such as education, skills and experience and is reflective of Clair Series stage and size. Base pay is only one part of Clair’s competitive total compensation package which includes equity, benefits and additional perks. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
