We’re looking for passionate, empathetic, and ambitious hustlers who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. As a Sr. Front-End Engineer, you will be part of the founding team as we design, build and launch the first comprehensive digital solution for GI that delights users and delivers real, tangible results for patients. You’ll report to our Head of Engineering.
In this role, you will…
Partner with the founding team to develop and execute Ayble’s technical roadmap, including the roll-out of our first commercial product.
Add new customer-facing features to our web and mobile apps, and then iterate towards the ideal user experience for delivering next-generation care in GI.
Help guide strategic business decisions from a technological standpoint, focused on scalability and user-friendliness.
Partner with the Marketing and Clinical team to synthesize customer and partner insights and integrate the voice of the customer in the product road mapping process and technical evolution of the product.
Process, review, and analyze data to increase and optimize customer experience and uncover new product insights.
Talk to users (patients), providers, health plans, employers and other stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of the business and the Ayble Health customer base.
Help recruit and mentor junior engineers joining our fast-growing team
Who we’re looking for
We index more on your experience and hustle than a college degree from a shiny institution. This role would be a good fit for you if you have the following…
5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer (with a front-end bias), working on data-rich consumer applications
Experience building mobile-first products with end-to-end ownership of feature and infrastructure development
Nimble, agile, self-starter, with a growth mindset
Exemplary communication, project management, and teamwork skills; able to explain solutions to non-technical teammates
Passionate about improving healthcare and creating solutions for patients
Experience with API integrations, including with communications providers (e.g., Intercom), health devices (e.g., Apple Watch, Fitbit), payment (e.g., Stripe) and other apps
Experience working in a HIPAA regulated environment (or other regulated industry) and supporting data security and privacy controls
Design skills in Figma or equivalent tool
Technologies: React Native, React (17+), Tailwindcss, NodeJS, Expo, modern stack (leverage Cloud providers as much as possible)
